Reservation

Yes, this is mandatory. This ensures the safety and health of our guests and employees and allows us to regulate the number of visitors. Without a reservation, we cannot grant you access to our resort.

Yes, you can. If treatments are still available on the day of your visit, you can book them upon arrival. If you want to be absolutely sure you can enjoy your favorite treatment, we recommend booking it well in advance. That way, you have even more wellness enjoyment to look forward to!

Would you like to make changes to your reservation? The date or time? Or would you like to add a treatment after all? We are happy to arrange it for you, but please note that our cancellation policy may apply. Use our change request form.

To offer you and other guests plenty of peace, space, and relaxation, we ask you to indicate your arrival and departure time in advance. This allows us to ensure a stress-free day filled with new energy.

We accept the VVV Gift Card, Beauty Cadeau, Sauna Cadeau, ONE4ALL Gift Card, Nationale Sauna & Wellness Cadeaukaart, and our own gift vouchers. The ONE4ALL gift card can only be redeemed at the reception.

Beauty treatments

You will be informed of the exact time of your treatment upon arrival. What is certain is that your treatment will be scheduled between the arrival and departure times you selected in advance. There will always be at least half an hour between your arrival and your (first) treatment, allowing you to ease into your day at a relaxed pace. After all, you are here to unwind.

Of course, we do our very best to meet your wishes. However, we cannot guarantee your preferred time. After all, there are more guests with preferences. And… first come, first served when it comes to enjoying! You will receive the final time upon arrival.

Yes, absolutely. If treatments are still available on the day of your visit, you can book them upon arrival. If you want to be certain you can enjoy your favorite treatment, we recommend booking it well in advance. That way, you have even more wellness enjoyment to look forward to!

Hotel Thermen Bad Nieuweschans

Your room will be ready from 3:00 PM. On the day of departure, you can check out until 11:00 AM. You may continue to use the thermen for the rest of the day. You can store your luggage at our reception desk or take it to your car.

Yes. Due to limited availability in our restaurant, making a reservation in advance is required.

Is dinner included in your hotel package? In that case, we have already reserved a table for you. For lunch, you can make a reservation at the hotel reception desk.

Facilities

Everyone should be able to enjoy our wellness. So yes, our wellness resort is wheelchair accessible as much as possible. The restaurant, hotel, changing areas, Brasserie, and treatment rooms are all accessible for wheelchairs. There are a few small steps at the saunas and steam cabin. Part of the Relaxation Pavilion is wheelchair accessible as well.

In addition to offering rest, we also provide privacy, so you can use a designated space for pumping. We will store the milk for you in the refrigerator.

This is possible at the Thermen Bad Nieuweschans hotel.

That is certainly possible. You are more than welcome to dine with us even if you do not wish to use the mineral bath or sauna. We do recommend making a reservation in advance. This can be done by phone only (0597-527777).

House rules

Of course. Your own items are always the most comfortable, right? You can also rent everything from us, just as convenient. (Whether our bathrobes and towels come in your favorite color… we cannot promise.)

Wearing bath slippers is mandatory, except inside the saunas where they must be removed.

To maintain a peaceful atmosphere within the wellness resort, children aged 0 to 11 are not permitted to use the facilities. Children aged 12 to 16 may enter only when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

To ensure the peace and privacy of our guests, the use of mobile phones and/or tablets is not permitted in the thermen. This also applies when using your phone as an e-reader.

No, photography is not permitted. This applies throughout the entire resort, including the Bathrobe Park.

We love everything that barks and meows, but our wellness facilities are truly meant for people. Therefore, pets are not permitted in the thermen or the hotel.

Other questions

No, there are no ladies-only days. However, there are swimwear days every Wednesday and Thursday.

Good to know: on Wednesdays and Thursdays, swimwear is mandatory throughout the entire resort. From Friday through Tuesday, the entire resort is accessible without swimwear only.

You will receive it quickly. As soon as we have received your payment, we will send the voucher to you. This may take three to four business days. You can order and pay for the voucher online via iDEAL or purchase it at our reception. Would you prefer to receive it directly in your inbox? Then order a PDF gift voucher.

A day of wellness is all about relaxation and enjoyment. You may feel like that even during your pregnancy. Are you a regular sauna visitor? Then you can certainly continue coming. If you are less than three months pregnant, it is better to postpone your visit for now. Being pregnant and visiting the sauna always requires some extra care.

Yes, absolutely. We accept American Express, Visa, and Mastercard.
